Matthias graduated in 1994 from Federal Institute of Technology, Kuala Lumpur (Diploma in Civil Engineering).

He joined MSM International Adjusters (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd in 1997 as a general adjuster.

Since then he has gained experience in handling general loss adjusting work. He had traveled throughout Sabah, Sarawak and Brunei to deal with claims under:

He has been handling major losses such as fire damage to properties, factories, hypermarket, power plants and machineries involving generators, boilers and turbines. Recent flash floods occurred throughout the state of Sabah, particularly the district of Sandakan which had caused huge material and consequential losses were also handled, monitored and supervised by him.

Similarly, losses involves land slides to a well known hillside resort, Zen Garden, was also attended and handled accordingly with assistance by independent consultants from outside Sabah. Improvements in site surveying was also achieved in such cases after observing the necessary points of the case as well as relating it to his assessment and reporting.

He is also involved in marketing the company to all of the well known Insurers in Sabah, particularly in Kota Kinabalu, Sandakan and Tawau district. By managing to deliver and achieve client’s expectations, the company has still the largest support from major Insurers (i.e Allianz, Berjaya, Uni.Asia, Tokio Marine, MSIG & others) for the state of Sabah to date and still continue to have supports from other foreign clients as well.
